Securium to present, exhibit, and meet policing partners at IPPPRI26

Securium is proud to be attending IPPPRI26 this June as both a speaker and exhibitor, where we will be sharing outcomes from our work with Devon & Cornwall Police and meeting delegates throughout the event. As part of the conference programme, Securium and Devon & Cornwall Police will present:

CSE Grooming Text Communications Analysis: NPCC Test and Learn outcomes

IPPPRI session

The session, currently on Monday June 8, 2026 16:40-17:25 (agenda may be changed by the organisers), will share findings from structured evaluation work carried out within the Devon & Cornwall Police Paedophile On-Line Investigation Team (POLIT) environment. The work assessed the consistency, repeatability and investigative value of using Securium’s Safeguard to review high volumes of CSE-related text communications, and demonstrated measurable operational benefit, including 36 hours saved in a single case.

The session is closed to law enforcement only, allowing for open discussion and practical sharing of operational insight across policing.

Alongside the presentation, Securium will also be exhibiting at IPPPRI26. This will offer delegates the opportunity to meet the team in person, understand Safeguard in more detail, and discuss how with Safeguard – and our content tracking system Discover – we can support child protection investigations, digital evidence review and wider safeguarding operations.

The presentation will be led by Dr Anna Vartapetiance, D.I Simon Foster, and Dr Lee Gillam.

Dr Anna Vartapetiance, CEO and Co-Founder of Securium, said: “We are pleased to be sharing this work with Devon & Cornwall Police at IPPPRI26. The session is focused on practical learning from operational use and on how text analytics can support investigators dealing with high volumes of digital communications.”

Simon Bailey, Chair of IPPPRI explains: “We’re extremely grateful for Securium’s support of this year’s conference. Their partnership enables us to host the most forward-thinking global gathering dedicated to preventing online harm, and to reducing the impact on those who work tirelessly to investigate and respond to it.”

If you are planning to attend IPPPRI26 and have not yet registered, we encourage you to do so and come and speak with us at our session and in the exhibition area. We will be available during the event to discuss this work and demonstrate Securium’s wider capabilities.

If you are part of a police force, law enforcement agency, or relevant public protection team, are interested in the capabilities of Safeguard but are unable to attend, please see our overview of Safeguard, and contact us or request a demo.

About IPPPRI26

Organised by the International Policing and Public Protection Research Institute (IPPPRI) at Anglia Ruskin University, IPPPRI26 brings together professionals from policing, public protection, research and technology to address online harms, prevention and safeguarding. The conference provides an important forum for sharing evidence, operational learning and practical approaches to tackling child sexual exploitation and abuse, while also supporting the wellbeing of those working on the frontline. It takes place from 8–10 June at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Simon Bailey, Chair of IPPPRI explains:
“As Chair of IPPPRI, I’m privileged to work within an international academic community committed to using evidence, data and innovation to help stop the growing threats to children online. Prevention must be our shared priority, not only to protect young people, but also to safeguard the wellbeing of the professionals who confront these harms every day.

“IPPPRI26 brings together our researchers alongside leaders from public protection, policing, education, technology, victim support and many other sectors. It’s an opportunity to connect cutting-edge research with real-world practice, and to explore how prevention can be embedded across every sector – including preventing the psychological and occupational harms experienced by those on the frontline.”
